I have a strong affinity for math and academics, but I'm also passionate about athletics! I participated in three sports throughout high school and college. However, when I wasn't playing sports or studying for my own classes, I was tutoring other students. I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and then spent time teaching English overseas. I've now returned to Kansas, where I continue to share my love of math through tutoring.Comprehension is my main focus when I'm tutoring. I strive to help every student discover their hidden potential. I give students the skills that will make them successful in subjects they once struggled with. I primarily offer tutoring in math, including Algebra, Arithmetic, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, and assistance in preparing for the math section of the ACT. I can also provide tutoring in English, ESL, and preparation for the ACT science and reading sections. I do my best to make subjects easier to understand, and even fun!During my free time, I enjoy playing basketball, running, and hiking. I also like to read, bake, and solve puzzles.
