Hello! I am a sophomore at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas! I am an Elementary Education major with a GPA of 3.7. While being in college, I have earned academic scholarships through the university, and I have made the Dean's Honor Roll for both of the semesters I have completed. I was offered a position at the Phi Delta Theta honor student fraternity, and I was honored for being in the top 15% of my freshmen class for my GPA each semester.
Experience
I have previously tutored elementary students in reading and economics. I want to be a tutor because I have a passion for educating young children and this could be a great start to my life-long dream of being a teacher. I am currently taking classes on how to best educate children, and I have had field experience working in inner city and rural elementary schools. I have worked the past two summers as a camp director through the YMCA. I have plenty of experience working with children and I absolutely love to help them learn!
