I am a freshman at Pittsburg State University majoring in Music Education (instrumental: clarinet) and pursuing a minor in Photography. Currently, I hold a 4.00 GPA.
Experience
Previous tutoring experience: I tutored elementary students in various subjects for two years. I student-taught during my senior year of high school in an elementary music class. I also gave clarinet lessons for a brief time. I am a well-rounded student with high test scores. I transferred in nearly 30 college credit hours as I began my freshman year at Pitt. As Valedictorian of my 2015 class, I have been confident in my academic standing and have been counted on several times to help teach others. With aspirations to teach a class of my own one day, I know tutoring can help me early on with my teaching and relationship skills.
